I liked the movie and all but holy shit this family is so dumb you got the son letting in some random homeless guy, the daughter with her stupid boyfriend thinking killing the dad would win over the daughter, and the wife has the reaction time of a tortoise with the gun 🥴

-parents didn’t pay attention for shit
-son was dumb as fuck
-mom was usuales, kicking and screaming but not actually fighting like she had kids to live for

I liked this. It was a tad slow at the beginning but the tension was always there. Scary. Very dystopian. This movie gives you something to think about for sure.

Absolutely iconic movie. Great action, fun concept, cool setting with INSUFFERABLE characters. I do have one pet peeve though with this whole franchise… all the crime in the world… EVERY POSSIBLE CRIME IS ILLEGAL… and you waste your time KILLING??? I’d be rich by daylight smfh.

this was crazy—i felt scared, tense, and frustrated while watching. charlie could've avoided the entire film had he not opened and disarmed the door. still, the chaos of watching the purge unfold was entertaining, and aside from the father, i liked how the family was saved!
