You’re telling me this is directed by the same guy that directed The Dark Tower adaptation?? An excellent 18th century danish period piece with Mads Mikkelsen as a veteran everyday man turned farmer set against the wicked racist rich. Serene cinematography and great score.

Brilliant film starring Mads. Ludvig von Kahlen was such an interesting and well done character. A great portrayal of the story it was based on. Would recommend. (Bonus: you get dishevelled Mads in this too.)
