Eastern Promises

Was intrigued the whole movie. Very dark and heavy plot. The naked fight scene was like the cherry on top 🤭

Russian mob story. Well placed shots moving on a swivel. The story telling remained simple which made the developments more intriguing. The history lesson paired with the symbolism entertain audiences of all levels of understanding. Satisfying and gruesome watch 8.0

Such a brilliant mob film I have been meaning to watch for a long time. Very gritty and entertaining with Viggo making you want to get Russian Orthodox tattoos.

Always good to see Cassel and Watts. Fantastic casting all round!

This has a really sad core plot. Better than a history of violence for sure. Still pretty mid
