4/5 a fair sequel to a great film that succeeds in sending a strong message: a queen does not need a man by her side to rule a country!

Is it better than the first one? no. But is it pretty dang good for a sequel? YES. Good message and I like how characters came back and they included things related to the first like the foot pop. “KING RUPERT. MAY HE REST IN PEACE” 🤲

The film runs an insufferable two hours, leisurely chugging toward an ending most of the audience will have predicted 15 minutes in. It’s a good movie to spend the evening.

PERSONALLY, I loved this one, more than the other, maybe because growing up I’ve just watched this more than the other because we had the DVD, but I don’t know.
Chris Pine is just…wow, no homo, but that man just makes any romance…no, ANY movie an automatic dub in my books

One of my all-time favorite comfort movies! Banging soundtrack, star-studded cast and one of the best enemies to lovers romances ever. Anne and Chris’s chemistry? SCRUMPTIOUS. And Clarisse and Joe? Give me a prequel! This film is etched in my heart for a reason.
