A+ movie in my book. Incredible cast led by Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Brilliant writing and a crazy true story that hits so many important issues ​​​​​​​​​

Man. This movie is almost ten years old and we're still dealing with the guy it was made to rebuke.

Anyways, great film. Streep and Hanks are amazing on screen together. Surprisingly energetic considering what the topic is.

Despite being about a topic I don’t know much about it was pretty entertaining and gripping.

Meryl streep slays as ever. Best plot twist ever patriarcat took a blow in this one

As the film brings back a bit of faith towards humanity, you start to wonder if it’s oversimplifying the matter. While it is, indeed, a complicated issue, the point of the film is just that. Sometimes it’s not that complicated. Sometimes we simply need to ask ourselves what is the right thing to do and just do it.
While being an idealist, this film does not shy away from the fact that doing what’s right often requires sacrifice. My favorite scene was when Antoinette reminds Ben what Katherine is risking. What a woman would be up against. It is not an easy road, and I’m glad the film gives it’s spotlight to these issues that are just as important and would easily be put to the sideline in a film like this.

This is one of the better movies I’ve seen by Spielberg, and the ending was incredible.

Timely. Fascinating how an event from so many years ago ca be so relevant and pressing.

Incredible! Based on a true story, I watched it both through the eyes of the 70s (I’m old enough to remember Vietnam War protests) as well as today when the press plays a very different role. Fascinating & highly recommend.
