I'm not much of a Wes Anderson fan, but maybe I'm turning into one? I find it hard to cognitively understand and engage in his filmography for several reasons. It's all almost too much, from his overwhelming character count to his loaded physical and mental symbolism. Although I was more invested in this than I was with "Asteroid City", even with its incoherent story. Overall, I think the pros meet the cons, but the multifaceted historical narrative and cast (Riz and Cera) save this from dislike. Also, the nepo babies (Mia) have been on their top game recently.

One of Anderson’s most spiritual and meaningful films. Definitely better than asteroid city.

What a beautiful silly little movie. The cast was absolutely amazing, the plot was interesting and ofc with Wes Anderson’s the cinematography was everything, so bloody breathtaking 🤭…to die for (no pun intended) 😂Micheal Cera what a babe 😍 8/10

i mean it’s alright, i loved benicio and mia chemistry, michael cera it’s so funny and the plot was good, i was kinda confused at times bc of the scenes black and white but in general it’s a good movie but not my fav of wes anderson, he could do better

A beautifully shot film with a very engaging story.

This film is as Wes Anderson as it gets. Even though this is the only Wes Anderson film I’ve seen so far, I know how he shoots his films & the formula he uses in them based on clips I’ve seen. I will definitely watch the rest.

Confusing but really cool and funny! Loved how it was shot,watched w bf too so it was enjoyable 😚

There was so much here that wanted me to love this, but I have to consider my experience as a whole. Absolutely beautiful to look at. I liked the themes of materialism and the emptiness of wealth. The script was emotionally thin, simultaneously it was hilarious.

one of my fav mcs out of all of wes’s mcs. loved the dynamic between the trio, especially between the dad and daughter. cinematography thrived as always, will never ever get bored of it. wes’s storytelling never fails to confuse me a bit lmao. story was decent and pacing was good

Loved this film!! Didn’t have the highest expectations because sometimes with that many stars you use them to cover up a bad film or idea but I think this story was unique, interesting. And my favorite part was the camera movement. Keeps you so intrigued and locked in.

That was an experience I've never had before. It was like someone was mumbling yet you understand what they wanted to tell you.

Great movie, classic anderson. Great mix of funny and entertaining, didn’t feel slow.

Not the greatest of Anderson's work but still enjoyable and the production is good as always. It is just the way the story unfolds that did not have me fully hooked.
