The Phantom of the Opera

Ok so I’m impressed that Gerard Butler sang his parts. I love the play and the music and this movie was done very well!

I’m not into musicals, but I LOVED this movie. Didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Despite the Phantom not being a good person AT ALL for a number of reasons, I teared up when Christine left with Raoul while the Phantom was crying at the end. I’d watch this again.

So Good!!!!

Schumacher directs the HECK out of this. That opening scene is astounding. Enchanting all throughout as well, with beautiful production, sets, and music, both instrumental and vocal. Could have been a tad shorter and less sensual, but enjoyed it way more than I expected. 

I just didn't like the way the Phantom of the opera was so obsessed with Christine even though she loved someone else
