The Phantom of the Opera

ohhh him so handsome :(
i could treat him right… i could fix him… just give me one chanc–

Great story, great plot, great silent film. Highly recommend.

Tragic, Haunting, and incredibly iconic, Chaney’s Phantom of The Opera is a must see for all lovers of silent horror. While it lacks the style of German horror of the period, it makes up for it with sheer drama, spectacle, and a breathtaking performance from Lon Chaney. 7.5/10

“if i am the phantom it's because men's hatred made me so."

Had a live organ playing for the movie and it was frickin awesome.

I love how Lon Chaney is a man of thousand faces who pulls off a masterpiece performance, His performance is very balanced of being terrifying but yet so tragic.

Something about silent movies are so eerie.

"Feast your eyes! Glut your soul on my accursed ugliness!"
