such a lovely watch. her life and mindset are genuinely inspiring. i deeply related to her desire for stability, and it made me reflect a lot. i can only hope that one day i’ll reach my goals with even half the grace, resilience, and quiet poise that she carried so effortlessly.

Never heard of her but very glad her niece made this documentary, she’s seems like a great character. 55 years in the orchestra is absolutely crazy, I applaud people that are that dedicated to their instrument

Good but not realy for me

This was okay but I don’t understand how it won an Oscar in its category, over Death By Numbers and Incident 🤷🏻‍♀️

As a female bass player…. I feel under accomplished goddamn. Anyways I feel like this documentary had the perfect run time: short, sweet, and interesting. Very intriguing person w incredible accomplishments. The doc is very well done/sentimental.

When she stated that all she wanted was “stability” as a child…I felt that. I related to Orin O’Brien in not wanting attention so much as to just be in the background. Good little watch.

I didn’t know anything about this story, but it’s amazing how she didn’t want to be see as anything major and just wanted to play and love music.

it was cool, I liked how it talked a lot about how you don't need to be front and center star to fulfill enjoyment of your passion. music was AWESOME

I know nothing about this person, but I still had a good time with this special. The way she talked about music and her career was all pretty captivating. It was kinda slow at times and I wish I learned more about her, but honestly still good for a quick watch.
