No idea what most of y’all are talking about. Some great cinematography but this didn’t do it for me. AND I watched this on a plane so my standards were as low as they get. Lot of eye rolls from me 🙄 If I was watching this on my couch I would’ve turned it off 😂

Put it off for so long, just to finally watch it and become insanly obsessed. The acting is so addictive and raw. The mythology and storytelling are incredibly intriguing. A few things got invasive, but I loved it, I just couldn't stop reacting. The score, design, colour grading, and direction struck me so hard. You understand a lot without actually understanding anything. Pure terror oozed out of me till the credits rolled infinate tears out of me. I want more. It's probably one of the best Viking movies i've ever seen. It ticks all my boxes, from sound, sense, sight, and even smell.

Hamlet set in Iceland with buff boys. What’s not to love.

Acting was good but holy Jesus was it slow. Super drawn out

mind blowing … so so good, but chaotically intense

Had a very slow start, but it became really good after it. Loved the visuals and the performances. And it was nice to see the story behind what inspired Hamlet. Great action as well. I didn’t like the weird monochrome sections though.

Very brutal movie that’s (allegedly) based in accurate representations of some Icelandic people. Very violent. Very bloody. Leaves you feeling icky. Blood splats and bones crunch. Not a fun, uplifting Viking movie. For that, see How to Train Your Dragon!

Thought it was pretty cool.

This is the first film I’ve watched by Eggers. What a way to start, the direction and writing offered is fantastic, the cinematography *chefs kiss* The ending fight poetic. For nearly a 2.5 hour movie. Its pacing was excellent. From a critical standpoint 9.5/10. My liking 9.5/10

Effects, characters, stories and plot twists that keep you guessing. One of my favorites from this director, he has a great job

Who was in charge of the color palette? I got a headache since most of the scenes were monochrome. Story is all over the place. Matsson should stop playing Viking and go back to manage gojo. 6

This movie is amazing, everyone in it did their characters justice and the mythology is well done, I enjoyed the fantasy aspects it didn’t seem to far fetched in this universe, overall stellar movie

Costume, Make-Up Design, and Visual Effects are amazing
