The Northman

No idea what most of y’all are talking about. Some great cinematography but this didn’t do it for me. AND I watched this on a plane so my standards were as low as they get. Lot of eye rolls from me 🙄 If I was watching this on my couch I would’ve turned it off 😂

Put it off for so long, just to finally watch it and become insanly obsessed. The acting is so addictive and raw. The mythology and storytelling are incredibly intriguing. A few things got invasive, but I loved it, I just couldn't stop reacting. The score, design, colour grading, and direction struck me so hard. You understand a lot without actually understanding anything. Pure terror oozed out of me till the credits rolled infinate tears out of me. I want more. It's probably one of the best Viking movies i've ever seen. It ticks all my boxes, from sound, sense, sight, and even smell.

Just a really weird movie tbh, saw it with a girl… yeah ruined the entire night

I waited so long and now I know why. I love everything about vikings but this was bad. Acting was good but nothing more.

Very brutal movie that’s (allegedly) based in accurate representations of some Icelandic people. Very violent. Very bloody. Leaves you feeling icky. Blood splats and bones crunch. Not a fun, uplifting Viking movie. For that, see How to Train Your Dragon!
