It was pretty good I just wished we actually saw them find the town

This movie got off to a real rough start but I ended up not hating it as much as I initially thought I was going to. There were some good character moments and I liked some of the horror elements but the plot was weird and I don’t think I’ll really want to ever watch this again

Why is Magik racist? She's one of the most important characters in so many timelines, powerful as hell, and Anya-Taylor Joy is a standout actress with a hell of a resume to back. I know this got shifted around a lot, dropped and picked back up, reshot, but come on. Spare me this.

Magik was my favorite part of this movie. she carried. and ive been following her and her comics since. anya taylor joy was perfect for the role - i hope they cast her again.

also when i first watched this, i used to be scared of it. 2020 was unreal

Pretty bizarre film. The writing is childish and the plot is weak. The actors in the film are actually fine but I think they are let down by poor directing and a bad script.

I was really debating between “meh” and “like” but I guess I liked it. EVEN THOUGH I don’t like horror, I would have preferred to see more suspense in this movie, that’s pretty much it, the relationships were unnecessary as well. (Oh and a post-credit scene would have been nice

I enjoy the movies/series in the x-men universe and this one didn’t disappoint. If anything I wish it was longer, but ‘The New Mutants’ gives more insight into how mutants can be treated or even taken advantage of. Another thing to add to the watchlist if you haven’t already.

Why was everyone just cool with racism? Why was that never talked about? Skip this movie for your own good, trust me on this.

Was a little too grown up to be a Disney movie, but thought the ending to be too coming-of-age y for my liking. It was kind of just okay.
