The New Mutants

Yeah this movie had many flaws but there’s a lesbian werewolf who watches Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I don’t think I’m capable of not loving it. Really couldn’t stand Illyana which sucks because I love Anya Taylor-Joy

It was pretty good I just wished we actually saw them find the town

This movie got off to a real rough start but I ended up not hating it as much as I initially thought I was going to. There were some good character moments and I liked some of the horror elements but the plot was weird and I don’t think I’ll really want to ever watch this again

The idea of a mutant horror story is intriguing, but execution is uneven. The mix of psychological tension and powers is refreshing. While flawed, it offers a distinct flavor compared to other X-Men films and has moments of genuine atmosphere.
