At first I was like… “man this is gonna be so boring. He’s just alone on Mars”. And then I was like “man this is so cool, he’s alone on Mars”. Really beautiful and surprisingly funny

One of the best and favourite movies, the cast made this so much better and the appearance of Sean bean couldn’t have been better. Outstanding acting from Matt Damon

watched it like 5 years ago on a plane and it left me traumatized

The reason a movie would go into my love list is one of two things it’s beautifully done with great visuals and acting topped off with an incapsulating script and the other is touching a soft spot and rewatchablity this movie has the perfect balance of both seriousness and comedy

FUNNY it's a good sci fi but you don't have to be smart to understand it at all so it was sooo enjoyable to watch i could actually follow along

The strongest message of hope and belief in the goodness of humanity I can remember, wrapped beneath a methodical and scientific story where he makes everything that can go wrong, go wrong. Sir Ridley Scott everyone.

I really enjoyed this movie, I think they did well with the pacing of the story. It could have been really easy to mess up a mars stranding. It was sad towards the end when he was making it home.

definition of a perfect gen X/millennial dad space movie. that type of humor is littered in every quip. the credits song got me T’d up like i’m the one that left mars. unnecessary stacked cast since this is meant to be the matt damon solo show

Love a good space movie and the cinematography was absolutely beautiful. This movie shows a great example of how good humanity can be in saving one man’s life.

Was so good until the end. WHY CHANGE THE ENTIRE ENDING?!!? THE BOOK ENDING WAS GREAT!!
