At first I was like… “man this is gonna be so boring. He’s just alone on Mars”. And then I was like “man this is so cool, he’s alone on Mars”. Really beautiful and surprisingly funny

I have not yet read the book. Wow. Great soundtrack. I found it very emotionally evocative- always impressive when people band together for the sake of saving even one person. The crew rapport was sweet too

Sucker for space movies. End of this is asinine lol. But a great Damon performance and a solid movie. I still cannot get over the spinning + grabbing rope in the middle of outer space
