i would genuinely sell my soul to watch this movie for the first time again. christian bale’s acting is phenomenal, and it was so refreshing to see him play such a complex, different role. the plot twist left me in shock for much longer than i’d like to admit! would so recommend!

the machinist, interesting on edge plot that feels unpredictable. eerie music that sets the tone perfectly but also uniquely. only complaint is that the ending felt underwhelming and i wasn’t left satisfied with the plot. (5.5/10)
