The Lost Bus

wow. absolutely terrifying.

was on the edge of my seat when it all started.

the vfx is really damn good. the zooming through the absolute colossal of inferno shook me. it shook me so much. easily my worst fear getting stuck inside a wildfire.

loved the cinematography. very eerie and fast paced. definitely enhanced the feel of the film.
bravo to the DP.

it’s surreal to me that this actually happened in 2018. kevin mckay is a true bus driver from heaven. bro saved 22 kids while he had no contact with his own family. that takes a lot of will to put the kids first before your own family. he has my absolute respect and appreciation. he deserves a medal of honor and millions of dollars for saving 22 kids lives.

the parents should be inviting him to BBQ every weekend. if not i’ll throw one for him.

mathew of course wow. bro never misses to act perfectly. when he cried dude…. that shit hit me hard. sent me back to the Endurance spacecraft in interstellar of ( cooper ) watching his kids grow up.

man he’s such a spectacular actor. love watching him act on the big screen.

this film is truly terrifying and just grips the life out of you. makes you feel like you’re on that bus with all of them.

it highly reminds me of “only the brave” with josh brolin & miles teller. absolute banger of a film too. also based on a true story. highly recommend both.

my only true complaint is why they didn’t show the real kevin mckay during the credits.

“only the brave” did give tribute.

anyway, it’s incredibly produced. standing ovation to apple once again.

apple and A24 are dominating the movie industry.

they’re doing better than hollywood idgaf.

i respect cinema, and authentic films that aren’t just a money grab.

highly suggest going to the movies and watching it on the big screen. don’t be a dumb fuck and wait untill it comes out on apple tv.

The Lost Bus

it's good, but i think the creators felt too good abt it, cause it drops the ball by the end. the story is really interesting, the acting is fantastic & the sets & special effects are brilliant! but the story opens a lot of doors it never closes.

God fucking damn it in an emotional mother fucker. Choking up the entire fucking time. I didn’t know this was based on a real fire and experience, as soon as I saw they specified that it was 2018 I thought to myself that was a little strange but damn man. This shit was so intense and felt almost documentary like with the camera usage being mostly hand cam and shaky and the zooming in and out. Incredibly immersive. And the mix of the Kevin perspective switching to and from the the fire chief which all the firefighters some of them surely were real fire fighters man cause they didn’t just seem like actors, made it so much more grounding and throwing in real b-roll footage of fires and the people on foot and shit. Crazy

What fucking losers are out in the middle of the fires with guns and shit robbing people. Jesus Christ man.

Telling the parents of the children on the bus that Kevin is a NEW DRIVER cmon now fucken dumbass don’t be saying that
