10- i love pam and this movie had so much potential but it felt very underdeveloped? i wish they went more black swan with it, still a good movie even so 7/10

I LOVE YOU PAMELA ANDERSON

Wanted to like it more than I did, but I still think it was good. Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis were amazing, the cinematography was gorgeous, and the score was amazing. But, it was just lacking in storytelling.

There’s so much in this film that makes me want to love it so much but I just needed a little more story. The performances were so good and I loved the direction it was taking us in. Much more attentive to aesthetics and atmosphere. The good outweighs the bad for me.

Pamela Anderson is amazing in a serious role! The whole movie was a build up to when the other shoe was going to drop. I loved the way it was filmed. Very raw and it looked like the whole set was filmed on a smokey casino. Very Vegas!

Really close to being a love on this one. It’s basically a character study and has great production, cinematography and acting. Would’ve liked to see a little more depth from it. Anderson definitely redeems herself as an actress, likely helped by a better director.

The outfits and acting were great, though I felt the script lacked depth. The way the plot was depicted by the director wasn’t my favorite either. I think there was more potential for this movie, but they kept it short and straight to the point. There’s only so much theycan show.

the substance if the substance was pain and suffering and despair

Good movie, outfit, acting, but the characters lack depth, wanted to like it more.

This well could be the sequel to the Showgirls of Verhoeven, and I didn’t think that something could be more depressing, this movie accomplishes that.

I did like the character study, and Pam was great. But the story lacked a cohesive ending.

despite popular belief i actually like the out of focus-ness it reminds me of a documentary

and the hate on this movie is so over exaggerated it was BEAUTIFUL

While the individual performances of each person were good, the movie itself didn’t really feel completed and felt like something was missing

Pam Anderson is impressive in this. So is Jamie Lee Curtis. Both do a great job at demonstrating fragility and strength simultaneously. JLC does a great brash older performer. Easy to see why they each got the accolades they did for this.
