don’t really get the hype

this was… awful?!? disturbing for sure. thoroughly not enjoyable to watch AT ALL. considering the time it was made, i cant say i’m surprised, but i was really hoping to like this. unfortunately i just wish i never watched it 💀 (also the title is so random??)

Was shocking when I saw it as a teenager but not as much now, did not date well

the parents should have been more violent !! the music makes the movie thoroughly uncomfortable- it’s almost as if theres an attempt at making humor in a really graphic and gross situation. ew

An intense and over the top start to Craven’s great career

The ending dragged on and was rushed at the same time, the music placement was almost comedic at times with the jumpcuts, and the whole point of the movie doesn’t happen until the last 10 or so minutes

If you’re looking for Gore and shock factor, this is the movie for you. Is it very good adaptation of the original from 1972. It’s dark it’s gory and it’s entertaining. Love it.

20 minutes in and I can’t. HORRIBLE SOUND EDITING. Also they literally had a jump cut😭😭😭 bro and the acting is sooooo bad I can’t bro. It’s not even because it’s old, it’s just a bad movie.
