It wasn’t the best but I like the use of only two people to create a musical

Only thing saving this is Anna Kendrick’s incredible acting and singing. Decent idea but just fell flat for me. Couple of good songs but the rest weren’t a vibe. Disappointed :(

mind you this was my formal introduction to jeremy jordan - my god

the soundtrack is so good! and the story is good however a bit confusing due to the back and forth jumping.

I liked the story but not a fan of the cutting back and forth layout. I had to make notes to keep track of where we were in the story. Songs were nice but not next level. Amazing emotional performances though from the actors!

music is great of course, i really envisioned more creativity in the transitions when thinking about a movie adaptation. they also really muddied the forward:backward timelines in a way that makes it even less accessible for a first time viewer

7/10 Jeremy and Anna were amazing, but the story was a bit dull

A beautiful story about a creative couple. The musicality of the movie is great. The acting is great. The singing is great. And the perspective changing based on who is singing is exquisite. All in all, a fantastic film. 👍🏼
