Love the action it really gave the MAX PAYNE energy in the film vary clean with it, it hella got me jumping from the couch from how epic the movie plays 💯💯

One of the great John Woo classics featuring all of his hit singles including extensive violence, gung-fu, Chow Yun-Fat, and some of the greatest proto stereotypes to come out of the genre. In particular, The Killer shines in its depiction of guilt and conscience, painting a window into two experiences shackled by the same emotions and telling a story as exciting as the one you think you’re about to get. A tragic, badass film, and a classic for a reason. 4.5/5

I love how Li and Ah Jong mirror each other as their mutual respect begins to grow.
The action in this movie was absolutely nuts, especially the end with the hyper stylized gunfights and long standoffs.
I’m a sucker for bitter ends but Ah Jong’s end was extra tragic.

Lived up to the hype!

I hope John Woo makes his comeback because he was firing on all cylinders in the 80s/90s action movies. Also, why can't we get action movies like these again? I love how this wasn't just a hitman going on a killing spree it had heart and characters that mattered.
