it was honestly too suspenseful that it started to piss me off 😭 it made it feel a little unrealistic, i still enjoyed it tho

I expected a fun Liam Neeson action ride, but honestly, it was a bit of a bumpy trip.

What Worked:
Stern’s wide shots capture the desolate Canadian ice roads perfectly, making the freezing environment a character itself. The classic country covers gave the gritty trucker vibe a familiar texture I love for my own playlists. Watching Mike fiercely protect his brother deeply resonated with my Methodist faith, beautifully illustrating how we should carry each other’s burdens and offer grace to the vulnerable.

The Cuts:
The middle part really dragged for me with a convoluted corporate sabotage subplot that cluttered the survival story. Keeping it spoiler-free, the rough, weightless CGI totally pulled me out of the high-stakes tension. Plus, the villains are so weirdly cartoonish it’s hard to take them seriously.

Verdict:
A chilly action flick that skids off the road. An okay background watch to see Neeson punch bad guys on ice, but skip if you hate bad CGI or messy scripts.

Favorite Line: “Now I'm angry.”
