The Hurricane Reviews

Washington with another wonderful performance.

Really mediocre movie. One of the rare occasions where I pause something halfway, realize I don’t really want to continue watching it, then give up wanting to watch it. I’m no expert on Rubin Carter’s life, but it seems like a case of “wrong man, wrong time”.

This was one of the most inspirational stories I have ever heard. This is a true hidden gem of Denzel Washington. 9.8/10

Didn’t realize Bob Dylan was still alive

they conveniently leave out the part where rubin cheats on his wife with his fans while he was in prison and out on bail. i understand that they want you to have a lot of sympathy for his situation but don’t act like he was an angel. he betrayed the woman that was loyal to him

Not gonna lie ts got me a little emotional. If this happened to me I would move to Canada too. Shout out Bob Dylan tho

Rather than boxing this turned out to be a fight for the truth. I’m not complaining, it was amazing. Denzel was 🔥
The theme of transcendence was powerful. No matter your setting, we’re all short of perfection, the idea that we can transcend what holds us back is truly beautiful

F*ck the justice system 👎🏽

Solid movie, I think the overuse the Bob Dylan song throughout a little bit but good performances and the man well deserves a film about him and then some after everything he was put through

Incredible movie very moving.

7.2

Holy amazing.
I cried.

Story is amazing.

the hurricane is beautiful

great film and great performance by Denzel Washington as always, the fact that the film is by real story is surprising and sad

well done

A good film in every part, obviously the interpretation of Denzel Washington does much. Thanks to him I was able to empathize with the character of Rubin immediately! He absolutely deserves the golden globe he won!

Great!

Denzel's best role. I wish this movie was more popular and more people knew about this story.
