Engaging & the acting was very well done. Second half definitely more gripping while the first half was dedicated to thinking and questioning the structures & the hate they bring along with them. Crimes of the rich is suffered by all, Surrender to your rage it will set you free

what should be a quite simple story to tell is stretched out a bit too much and ends up being boring, lackluster, and almost meaningless. if I could, i’d change more things than I can count.

but I still enjoyed it. nice action

Andrew Garfield’s talents are wasted in this slog. Pathetic villains that never instill fear, to the worst camera work since the Jason Bourne sequels. Nothing matters here and the pacing is a joke. More happens offscreen then on and the ending is actually laughable.

A medieval epic with a stellar performance from Andrew Garfield and immersive action. My main gripe with this film was the shaky-cam docudrama style combined with a 14th century setting. The cinematography just didn’t click with me at all despite an interesting true story.

An impactful Thriller that ponders the corruptive power that even those out for justice can wield.

I really wanted to like it, but the pacing and overall execution did not deliver as well as it could of. I also felt like they rushed a random ending sequence for no reason

even a phenomenal actor like andrew garfield can’t make a good movie from a bad script, atrocious pacing and nauseous inducing camera work

6/10, I would put this slightly above the death of Robin Hood but not by much. This movie had lots of great action but the characters never made me care for any of them. Cinematography and Andre Garfield (as always) was great to watch.

Yikes 😬 I’ve never watched a film with such bad camera work before (maybe intentional?). Andrew Garfield and the climax scene were the best parts. Action was good overall too. Dialogue was clunky and bad and that ending was goofy. Didn’t care for any of the characters.

5/10 basically Robin Hood. I did leave before the movie was over but mostly because I had to pee.

The movie started off very slow. It hard where you sat up in your seat in the beginning but overall slow start. Second half of the movie definitely carried and it was a lot better. Does the government have the people best interest or is it all about what they want?

Disappointing. Love Andrew And this looked like it was going to be akin to the movies I grew up with, but falls flat. No real struggle in the film. Things just happen in a straight line. No big twists or heartbreaking choices. Kinda boring

Shaky camera and zooming in and out on people like it’s the office 😭. Weird drone shots with cgi old London too?? What are we doing. And I just knew at the end he’d be like nah let the rich king live even though every other rich dude was killed
