Be honest, you’re a fan of The Outsiders/C. Thomas Howell. So am I, which is how I stumbled upon this movie and I’m not mad about it. I thought it was interesting and clever. I watched this when I was terrified of horror movies and this movie kept me on edge (and it still does).

A bit of a forgotten classic and still very much stands up. teo excellent performances, the trauma is believable on both ends, and it's also shot to maximise tension but its also pretty in its own, baron way.

John Ryder has to have a luck multiplier or something. You know being able to chase down Jim and all.

I like this movie, but I think I can't help but compare it to the Fugitive. Unfortunately, in the process of doing that, I realized how things in this movie could have been much better. Rutger Hauer is the stand out here, didn't care all that much about Soul Man.

Pretty good

The leads do a fantastic job at conveying this weird, nuanced relationship that for some reason reminds me of Batman and Joker from The Killing Joke. Didn’t feel super rewatchable to me, but it was very well done as far as the simple premise

Has made it into my 10-20 greatest films of all time after 1 watch. The acting and writing is fantastic, the story is creepy as fuck but realistically brutal in its delivery. I loved every second of this movie down to the amazing score and cinematography.

tbh, i only watched this movie because thomas was in it, but the movie itself wasnt that bad. it wasnt scary in a way, but it was suspenseful and some scenes made me uneasy. its not as good as other horror movies, but i still do recommend it. easy 9/10
