Tarantino examines the reconstruction era of American history in a subzero, arctic purgatory without shying away from showing how hateful it was. Easily in his top three. This is him at his most politically observant. 3rd viewing, I hadn’t seen it in years. Very funny too.

The score, the acting, the intensity, and the fact that the majority of the film takes place in one location is what makes this film my favorite Quentin Tarantino film. I dare Quentin Tarantino to make his final movie as great or greater than this one. That’s a tall order.

10/10; this movie was funny, tense, and just an amazing watch, Tarantino always making a banger and man oh man, this sure is one. I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it yet. The actors, the chemistry, the setting, everything was just amazing.

There’s just something about westerns that make me smile and laugh and applaud with glee idk. LOOOVED Jennifer Leigh and Walton Goggins (ofc). Usually movies that all take place in a single setting kinda piss me off after a while but this had me locked in the whooole time

It was alright. Definitely a Tarantino movie but I didn’t connect with it much. I think it’s one of those movies that means a lot in a societal stance but I couldn’t see it. Cool movie with my brother, there were interruptions- but yeah- didn’t like it that much.

It’s not peak Tarantino but it’s still pretty good. It’s like a C+ Anti-Western, but the little details make up for it (characters take previous dialogue and try to pass it off as their own words/backstory). It also never proves certain plot elements (that’s a good thing).

It’s basically Django part 2. I will say the reveal of who poisoned the coffee felt a little forced, but if you accept it had to happen for the story to continue, it becomes a welcomed exposition. A very good movie all and all. The performances were amazing

- I would’ve loved to see this at the movies with the roadshow. This is probably like my 4th time watching this movie. Tarantino is a phenomenal director and maybe even my favorite. The action/gore was so exciting. Sam L was ruthless and this is one of his best performances ever.

This movie took so many twists and turns, that I hardly expected anything that occurred within it. Out of every Tarantino movie I’ve seen so far, this one was by far the darkest and so far one of the most well written movies I’ve seen from him. Not action packed but great. 9.6/10

Tarantino saw my review of Django and was like “damn he’s right” He couldn’t live with his own failure so he went and made this movie. The real and indisputable western goat. Full of twist and turns this movie depicts just what I wanted in a western movie and more. 9

Good, but definitely baffling, but in a good way… also the slow motion effects and Tarantino’s voiceover were awkward
