The Hateful Eight

hot take, but this movie has some of the best dialogue i have ever seen. i find every character so interesting in one way or another. sam jackson is one of my favorite actors ever and he’s great
in this. a lot of familiar faces if you like tarantino. good plot. funny at times too

2/3 of this movie is ass

Tarantino examines the reconstruction era of American history in a subzero, arctic purgatory without shying away from showing how hateful it was. Easily in his top three. This is him at his most politically observant. 3rd viewing, I hadn’t seen it in years. Very funny too.

This wasn’t for me. Definitely not my thing. The acting and visuals were great, and objectively it was a good film, it just didn’t interest me. It was too long and I found myself not connecting with the characters, which brought no emotional payoff as the twists unfolded.

It’s fine. Undoubtedly the worst Tarantino movie
