Didn’t like the tone of this documentary. We see a bunch of « sharks » who saw an opportunity to make money on the back of a guy who was clearly mentally unstable. A lot of red flags but nobody connected the dots.

felt really biased & unfinished 🤷🏼‍♀️ there wasn’t nearly enough exploration of the trial facts or of Kai’s mental health issues & possible sexual assault trauma, so it was a very one sided look at his depiction in the media

Lots of black and white thinking with little nuance. A weird and stilted documentary.

My heart genuinely hurts for Kai. It’s clear that he has mental disabilities, yet they sentenced him to 57 years in a maximum security prison while the driver got 9 years in a mental facility? Kai was genuinely just trying to live his life in peace.(Continued in comments) 7/10

Unexpected turn of events. Riveting. Really enjoyed the watch.

Worth the watch if you at least remember the original viral video. Wasn’t my fave Netflix doc but good enough, especially at <90 min. Larger theme of homelessness/mental health is really fascinating (and sad) here.

Scary true story that I had heard nothing about. Netflix is now notorious for these types of documentaries, and this one is good, albeit not their best.

fine documentary and quite interesting at some parts but not really my favorite crime doc

Not that good

I enjoyed this up until the very end. this movie is full of victim blaming. the court system did not do this man justice.

I mean wow, majority of it was about him and not the victim
