The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker

Didn’t like the tone of this documentary. We see a bunch of « sharks » who saw an opportunity to make money on the back of a guy who was clearly mentally unstable. A lot of red flags but nobody connected the dots.

felt really biased & unfinished 🤷🏼‍♀️ there wasn’t nearly enough exploration of the trial facts or of Kai’s mental health issues & possible sexual assault trauma, so it was a very one sided look at his depiction in the media

Interesting and a good watch 8/10

It was really good, love a good documentary. It kind of made me question whether or not Kai did it in self-defense or not, you know? Hate when a movie does that, but in this case, I don’t really know how to feel.

a great story to learn about. he needed mental help, but no one wanted to, they just enabled it and laughed at him.
this docu felt really biased, and i wanted it to go more in depth with the court trials as well as how his past affected his mental stability.
