the red head in wahlbergs class in the beginning of this movie came to talk to my health class one time lmao

I can kind of see why this movie didn’t get great reviews. It was very weird and very confusing. A virus that makes people commit suicide? Really? I love M. Night Shyamalan movies and thought this one was ok but it definitely wasn’t his best. 7.6/10 for me

A lot and a little is going on here. The whole twist is based on, 'What's happening?', which we get told before we even put on the movie. Yes, time has passed but it's in the synopsis. Apart from that, the start of this film has some of the most haunting visuals and sounds. Genuinely got goosebumps from how real it looked, and how it was filmed. M. Night directed the juice out of this. The story on the other hand doesn't hold up. It's extremely forgettable, confusing and weak. It's not one of the first movies that comes to mind when you look at his filmography. The cast was great but overall it was nothing special.
