This movie feels like watching a bunch of "The Witcher 3" side quests as you progress through the main story. Some of these "side-quests" are much better and more interesting than others. 7.5/10

A chilling, masterfully done adaptation of an old Arthurian legend.
Everything about this film is perfection; The visuals, soundtrack, casting, and especially that ending all come together to make one of the most engaging movies of the 2020s. It pulls you in right from the start and despite taking its time telling its story, it never once felt slow. I’ve watched this film twice now, and the experience only gets better on subsequent viewings.

I expected a badass knight movie. Not at all what I got. It was slow and painful to watch. I almost gave up on it but there was something I can’t describe that kept pulling me back in. Of course the ending was unbelievable and made it all worth it. Weird ass movie though.

Slow. Ambiguous. Not a fan.

An ambitious adventure with beautiful scenery and good use of audio to depict the atmosphere. At times fun, but this slow paced tale quickly lost its charm and didn’t quite meet the bar I had. The actual conclusion was satisfying but the entirety of the story was anticlimactic

Fantasy drama adventure retelling of the medieval legend of Gawain and the green knight. Weird with stunning visuals and imagery. Felt like I was watching a Guillermo deal toro movie.

Liked this, but it’s a weird one. I had to read up on it after to appreciate, dev Patel is great throughout and carries it. ​​​​​​​​​

Very inquisitive film, kept you on your toes the entire time not knowing what was coming next. Can’t wait to watch a film review on it

WENT ON FOR WAY TO LONG - all people who went to theaters for this should get their money back - it was so weird and dragged out and unnecessarily boring

Loved this film, it wasn’t perfect and for some reason it played in French but that made it so much better for some reason

Awful

Great visuals, acting and plot, but the plot should have been a short story amd not stretched out. The pacing was hurt because of it. The ending was good though. 7.4/10

Beautiful visuals, lots of walking and getting beat up.

Interesting story. A little slow but overall solid. Crazy internal battle for him but love how it played out. 7.5/10

Felt extremely ambivalent after watching this. The story is incredibly unique and introspective with beautiful cinematography throughout. I felt immersed and captivated by most of it, but there were multiple parts throughout that felt completely strange or bewildering.

I watched this while sewing and it felt like I had put on a 2 hr “medieval ambient noise” YouTube video. It was very moody, wonderfully shot and composed but just not my taste in movies. I think it would appeal more to someone who knows about Arthurian legends

it’s an interesting one. probably a bit too obscure for me, but i can appreciate the themes and lessons that this movie teaches. dev patel is great, and the cinematography is wonderful. i just struggled to get through it tbh

What a let down. Can guarantee the people who made this movie love to smell their own farts in wine glasses. So boring, zero actual plot, just all symbolisms and metaphors. Was visually very cool which made it feel like even more of a waste.
