This definitely isn’t scary ( damn you TikTok) it’s very sad.

When I watched it out of boredom years ago, it genuinely left a strong impression on me. For such a low-budget film to achieve this level of impact is quite impressive. The story itself is very simple, but on reflection, reality is often even more absurd.
