i love finn wolfhard

Not terrible - it goes into depth with the characters mainly theo, its a long film, but it plays out well because of the calculated hooks. not my kind of movie though i can appreciate it, satisfied with the ending it has a sense of calm, 6/10

Finn wolf herd was like the only part when it was good

Seriously this movie changed my life. I’ve written two separate book reports on the book, because I watched the movie and fell so in love I just had to. I named my rat after the dog, I’m getting TGF tattoos with a friend, this story has lived rent free in my mind for 3 years now

-lots of timeline back & forth
-still don’t really know why the painting was not found sooner/why was it so freakin important
-wouldn’t police possibly have to search their house after a bombing w/o a concrete alibi for his mom’s exact location? & in turn they’d find the bird?

No clue what happens in the book but this as a movie to me felt a bit too long if I’m honest.

I mean I didn’t necessarily hate the movie but I wouldn’t say it’s anything mind blowing or something I’d love to watch over and over again.

The cast was great and the acting too but the story just wasn’t really it for me for some reason. It could’ve been done better and probably a bit differently but like I said I don’t know how accurate this is to the book or anything so I’m not the best to judge this movie.

Overall an okay movie that I probably wouldn’t really watch again.

Too serious when they were elderly

Wasn’t honestly my favorite movie, but still a good one. If was quite different from the book but not In a bad way. It’s a good watch and the plot twist really pulls at your heart strings. The ending is a bit disappointing, but everything before that is really good. Great cast to

Rewatching it after finally reading the book was SM less confusing. It didn’t feel like a movie, but a journey to experience.

Idk if this is the reason for the bad critics but the timeline & pacing was confusing. Should have been a short series

The adaptation itself was perfect

It was just a movie until it started filling my headspace every single second of the day and when it ended I felt so empty I need boreo back-it’s so comforting I feel like boris carries most of my aesthetic he’s awsome the thick accent fuck, can’t believe they left Theo an orphan. And theyve created a space to live rent free in my mind I’m going insane I’m having thoughts on buying the book (gonna do it)

I will say i only watched this because of Finn Wolfhard being in it but the plot was descent and it's overall a good movie
