The book is much better

I can’t believe I delayed watching this movie for so long!!! The lore, secrets, and development of the characters was so immersive! I love when kids are the leads of a film because you can tangibly see the rapport within the cast.

I wish there was more movies about this or a whole trilogy to make the viewers understand whats going on

I couldn't finish the movie as a kid but I have to rewatch it

Pretty mid. The dialogue was pretty woody at times and the cgi didn’t help. Probably a book I would have enjoyed ten years ago. Didn’t feel compelling for the major plot points. A kid doing all that was also unbelievable.
