i was not expecting to love this movie as much as i did. 😳

i liked the creative ways that they showed his slow transformation, even from the beginning he was kinda fly-like, the monster and gore effects were insane but some of the characters were kinda terrible for no reason and some uncomfy moments, really good though!

In all honestly even past all the description, I never expected this film to be as Morbid as it turned out. The Prosthetics used for this film are extremely lifelike and impressive beyond compare. Jeff Goldblum puts on a Fascinating performance even under all that makeup. Cronenberg truly knocked the ball out of the park with this film. No wonder it receives such high praise

I really didn’t know what to expect with this. I thought it would be stupid gory fun but it was so much more than that. The practical effects are disgustingly great and as the transformation goes on it gets even nastier. The final form was crazy looking

An entertaining and disturbing watch. One of the greatest monster movies of all time with almost no contest. Amazingly written with a simple yet perfectly done narrative. No less than a joyous and interesting watch time after time.

Really cool movie. Was also kinda sad too. The ending was also pretty brutal. The effects for all of the grotesque imagery was absolutely amazing.
