The First Slam Dunk

Its hard not to get turned on the entire movie. Sannoh teamplay is awesome but ryota as point guard;;;;;;; and mitsui has a fucking swish 3-pointers every. Single. Shot. Rukawa!!!!! Fucking passes!!!!!! The ENDING????? FUCK!!!!!!! FUCKKK!!!!!!! LEGENDARY MATCH. PEAK SPORTS ANIME.

This was a cool movie. I liked the characters and I thought the story was pretty good. The mix between 2D and 3D animation didn’t bother me at all surprisingly. Fun watch but it’s a little long

Not what I expected. I read the manga first, so I noticed in the movie a lot of the game and hype moments were cut out and the first half of the game was nonexistent. Also, they made Ryota the main character??? Emotional story, but it’s not Slam Dunk. Beautiful animation. 5.5/10

Had to get used to the animation style and the fact it was from Miyagi’s POV. But I enjoyed it well! Left a lot out from the manga that was important in this match, but it was a different POV. They did do the characters justice in the end when they all went off
