An incredible take on the slasher genre with an interesting concept that does it right

Such a fun, campy romp with amazing editing (the slo-mo sequence?!) and heart. I laughed, loved the references to all things 80s horror, and even teared up at points. Overall a great watch

so much better than I expected. fun and fresh.

Meta comedy horrors rarely come off this fun. Thankfully, this one drops the painfully overdone “who dunnit” plot line and just focuses on fan boy meta cliches instead. Characters who are literal characters of themselves pull over some of the funniest gag scenes in the genre.
