The Exorcist: Believer Reviews

I’m normally not a fan of the exorcist movies but I enjoyed the concept of this one and really enjoyed it. I even jumped a few times which is very rare for me. Definitely check it out.

it was alright ??? idk what I was expecting but I feel like it could’ve been better

The hate behind this movie is so unwarranted. The Exorcist is a classic and many people had unrealistic expectations.

If you are comparing this to the original film that revolutionized an entire genre, then yes this wasn’t very good. But the hate for this is a bit undeserving. Like most horrors the beginning was slow but the effects team and storyline made up for it.Not upset i gave this a watch

This was really bad.

An overlong family drama interpreted as an unscary thriller that is sure to upset fans of 1 of the most overrated horror franchises of all time.

The beginning was kinda dumb and not a fan of the editing, but it got better as it went along

4/10 I really believed in The Exorcist: Believer, I thought the film looked great from the trailers and the makeup/fx looked reminiscent of the original film. I couldn’t have been more wrong about this film, the scariest part of the movie was a cheap jump scare involving a snake.

I cannot explain how bad this movie was, the only shining light in this movie was Aaron Burr and even he couldn’t save it. My god it was a fever dream, and have I had better dreams. I have taken better 💩💦 than this movie. It DESERVES the hate. Truly the worst amalgamation of any

The first half of the movie just seemed like another generic possession film, but unfortunately that wasn’t the worst of it. The second half served almost solely to crap on the original (the Catholic Church, Chris MacNeil), putting a sour taste in my mouth, with a mediocre end

Not bad, not good, pretty decent special effects, liked the small connection to the original exorcist

I loved it

Quite a good exorcist film with a good storyline to it! Those two girls were also great actresses. Someone get them a Disney contract ASAP!

A little long. I can see where they are going to make more. But pretty good. Not scary though,no where like first!

It was decent at best. Not scary at all tho 7/10
