This movie works but is probably not as scary as it tries to be. There are some truly spooky sequences and visuals, my favorite being a hooded figure appearing in blink and you’ll miss it moments.

I really enjoyed I thought the parts in the court were very smart and I loved how you could interpret this movie in different ways and there’s no definitive way of knowing what happens 7.7/10

For being based on a true story this is pretty good. I liked the flashbacks they used to explain the story. Good for it’s time too and the actress that plays Emily does a great job 7/10

More funny than scary tbh

Though names are changed this is an uncomfortable watch knowing this is based on real world events. I think this cuts especially deep because the movie opts to support the theory that magic is real and a young girl wasn't tortured to death by a priest and her deluded family.

I fear that I would be able to rewatch it despite the boredom that took ahold of me a few times. but the way everything was presented along Jennifer carpenter's acting that was breathtakingly beautiful, she knew how to transfer every goosebumps on point and without any fail.

Decent with a few jump scares.

wasn’t horrible, i thought the writers were going to you with the idea of emily coming alive again and torture everyone but i was wrong. kind of disappointed tbh.

Closest thing I've seen to a courtroom horror. Not a huge fan of anything that becomes a religious boost. But anything with Jennifer Carpenter is naturally more terrifying. She isn't a scream queen, she's the Queen of Sceams ✨

This one was actually surprisingly good. I usually don’t like supernatural horror movies, but this one was a good watch.

Not 1 boring minute, eerrie at parts, just the right amount of everything.

I can’t remember watching this, I think I may have ages ago but didn’t remember. I enjoy it a lot, had a lot of creepy scenes especially when her body’s all twisted and her eyes fully black. Also based of a true story which is crazy and hella sad.

better than i expected. but a lot more court scenes than i thought. jennifer carpenter is such a good actress i love her so much
