Norma Shearer was great, but the rest of it was… well, it was definitely a product of its time. Also I feel terrible for Dorothy.

In the 30s obviously existed a double standard that it was different or somehow o.k. for men to cheat on their wives but not right for the wives to do the same. In the 30s lot of productions were like that they lack dialogue maybe for transition over silent to talkies movies. 3⭐️👎🏼
