Very special story, beautiful and terrible at the same time

Pretty average, but Guy Pearce and Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne’s performances were great. Not to mention showing Māori culture.

Unfortunately, I felt the movie wasn’t very engaging or captivating… ‘Forgetful’ is a better word. I would still recommend but it’s just not for me.

Half the time they’re speaking a different language with no subtitles and it’s frustrating to watch. It’s longer than it needs to be and there’s not really a lot going on.
