The Conjuring 2

I honestly didn’t think this one was all that scary…it was entertaining but I just cringed through most of it. It seemed a bit cheap compared to the first movie. Not my favorite. Could have been wayyy better!

Did enjoy first one is better have become a big fan of the Conjuring universe

It is a basic thing done very well, in many ways a pristine example of what Wan always shows up to do. He’s going to keep you anxious and create memorable and horrific imagery that lingers in the mind, as well as moments of levity in-between that’s are surprisingly genuine.

now that i’ve seen it all chronologically, i am confused on how Valak got to Enfield? why did she even need to be there. if her name gives us power over her, why didn’t sister irene js use her name in the nun?
