The Conjuring 2

I honestly didn’t think this one was all that scary…it was entertaining but I just cringed through most of it. It seemed a bit cheap compared to the first movie. Not my favorite. Could have been wayyy better!

Did enjoy first one is better have become a big fan of the Conjuring universe

It is a basic thing done very well, in many ways a pristine example of what Wan always shows up to do. He’s going to keep you anxious and create memorable and horrific imagery that lingers in the mind, as well as moments of levity in-between that’s are surprisingly genuine.

Really enjoyed this one too, though it wasn’t as scary. I did enjoy the family more in this one, and getting to see a bit more of their side before Ed and Lorraine arrived. Also like seeing more of them too! Another good one, 7/10
