It was cute

Dumb and charming. Kurt Russell is spectacular in a silly, slapstick story about the “magic” of Christmas. Campy, comfy, and convenient.

Kurt Russell brings an unexpectedly cool, charismatic energy to Santa Claus that refreshed the holiday genre, even if the kid-centric subplot can feel slightly forced and predictable compared to the fun Santa scenes.

Cute modern holiday movie. They don’t make Christmas movies like they used to and this is a stand out from the modern glop. Perfect family movie night around the holiday if you are looking for something new!
