kinda like they squished every scary thing into this film (caves, underwater creatures, flying creatures, climbing, etc). i would’ve liked if they took certain storylines further, like humans turning into the creatures and the creatures giving parasites- could’ve been cool

not movie of the year but if you like early 2000s scifi thrillers and dont think about this one too much, it’s fun

was barely paying attention x

boring until the creatures appeared and by the time they did i was too motion sick to keep going. the cave is so fake looking, too. 3/10, mostly for the creature design.

need to watch again when I'm not looking out for trick or treaters lol

Creepy setting, decent tension, and a few solid creature moments. It won’t blow you away, but it scratches that underground monster horror itch. Underrated creature horror that delivers on mood and mayhem.

Had great potential but annoyed me when very few of the camera shots focused clearly on the actual creatures/action scenes

Not a great quality movie but def one to watch if you like cave diving or the Descent

Just felt like a low budget scary movie lol but very entertaining and interesting plot and twist! There were just a lot of dark scenes and not a picture focus on the creature to see what was happening clearly

I had hoped this movie would be like The Descent but with more water, but it was so disappointing. Even more disappointing when you see that the budget for The Descent was only less than 10 million, yet The Cave had a budget of approximately $30 million for a much worse movie.

Dumbest movie in the world!

the first time I watched it I really enjoyed it the second time not as much the pacing could have been better. Curious about the ending tho could of done a sequel

You know for a B movie, it was actually much more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. Although the characters were a bit shallow, the story was well written and the atmosphere felt quite intense. Not a must see but still great and the ending was a great twist. 8.3/10
