Wow, haven’t seen a concept like this one from a movie yet. Loved that it was poking fun at some classic horror movie sterotypes. It’s not necessarily scary, but rather more on the satirical side. Nonetheless, I loved this one!

A spoof on classic horror tropes that either hits or misses depending on your expectations goin into the movie. Having known that it was a amalgamation of horror I’d give it a 7/10

7/10 This was a wierd and wacky fuckin movie that you would never expect from any of the promotional material. Cant give it a perfect review because the annoying movie narrator was on and we spent over half the movie watching it like that, and it still held up! Pretty good!

I don’t think this movie should be considered horror or thriller because it’s definitely not not scary

One of my favorite horror comedies, super satirical and I think anyone that has seen all the horror movie tropes would enjoy. Super rewatchable, people that don’t like it probably didn’t even realize it was a clever satire.

9.3/10 Amazing movie and not at all what I expected. I love the mystery since the beginning and the thrill most of the way through!

wow i LOVEDDDDD this, ended up playing out extremley different than i could have ever guessed by the title or even just the beginning of the movie. i really really really really enjoyed this it was fun and weird and funny and different and just really well done altogether 9/10👏

This movie was a waste of the limited time I have on earth. #never again

🎃 2026 Spooky Season Watch #9

What a truly crazy and bizzare film. Certainly not what I was expecting going in…

I’m in two minds about it all. The first half is really quite bad, introducing underdeveloped characters, boring events taking place - dull. The second half has some really… interesting(?) story beats that I respect, even if I don’t fully vibe with it. Kills were brutal and gory, with all of the 3rd act’s set pieces designed really well. CGI is pretty atrocious and frankly distracting during all the chaos at the end.

Character work was weak sauce so I can’t say I enjoyed any performances here, they were all really flat and stereotypical (even if that was the intention). I guess Richard Jenkins was pretty good - but he’s never bad per se, so to be expected. Sigourney Weaver must have been paid BAG for her 15 seconds of screen time.

Fun, but lacking in virtually every other regard. Certainly helped that I knew nothing of the film’s plot. Knowing the twist - I don’t think my low score would’ve been as high…

I heard a lot of good things about this movie and it was truly a fun ride. I also like how it explains the tropes of horror movie in a logical way. Definitely a new fav comfort movie ☻

Pretty cool concept, only the movie itself sucked. What a horrible ending it also had. The movie had potential but was butchered, with the weird implementations of the movie. Would not recommend 1/10.

Typical cheesy horror movie with a twist, nothing crazy, but wasn't terrible.
