The Cabin in the Woods

7/10 This was a wierd and wacky fuckin movie that you would never expect from any of the promotional material. Cant give it a perfect review because the annoying movie narrator was on and we spent over half the movie watching it like that, and it still held up! Pretty good!

Wow, haven’t seen a concept like this one from a movie yet. Loved that it was poking fun at some classic horror movie sterotypes. It’s not necessarily scary, but rather more on the satirical side. Nonetheless, I loved this one!

I don’t think this movie should be considered horror or thriller because it’s definitely not not scary

I love this movie! Not because it has a high budget, because i’m sure it doesn’t, but the concept is just so good and I feel like it doesn’t matter if the budget is low because it’s still so good. They did their best with what they had and it works. I am so so glad I found this!!

really interesting movie. like i’ve heard, it’s definitely the closest thing to an official SCP movie. i like the story, and the play on tropes, but, oof, rough CGI at the end there (actually, for 2011, that’s not that bad, definitely going all out)
