First musical to win best picture and first movie to ever be a musical. The famous song Give my Regards to Broadway is from this film. Other than that, I couldn’t get into it. Snooze fest

Nah this was not for me which surprised me but I just never got into it and never got in the swing watching it I was just going with the flow till it ended

I’m sure it’s great for it’s time, but there are too many vaudeville act movies from this time period to keep straight, and this is not a standout.

This is not how you tell a story or make me not want to kill myself. 3/10

Well that was certainly a 100 minute film.

The first real Hollywood musical. What a delight. Extremely watchable, and the banter is impeccable. The romance side of the movie was a bit melodramatic, but that’s my only complaint.
