The ending of this movie fucked me up pretty good. I was left staring at the screen through the end credits with my mouth agape. Just an absolutely devastating ending. This is the first movie I’ve seen depicting the Holocaust and the reality of it really gets to me. It’s horrid

i cannot explain how this movie impacted me.. i would recommend anyone to watch it for so many reasons. the cast is amazing and the actors’ performances as well. the ending got me in tears. needed at least 7 business days to get over it.

as a jew i hate this movie. my dad’s side of the family were all killed in the holocaust except my great grandfather and this movie is the worst holocaust movie i’ve watched. this movie makes you sympathize with nazis instead of focusing on the real victims of the holocaust.

so at first I loved it but Then I started to cry a lot and im still Sad about it,Like i have to remind myself that its just a movie But its still Sad,

i liked this because of the impact it leaves, but that being said it’s a pretty unrealistic idea of the holocaust and can garner nazi-sympathy if interpreted incorrectly. it’s good at getting the audience to tap into their emotions, but not accurate/educational.

ah yes what a tragedy that bruno mistakenly died. wait, does that mean that shmuel's death was warranted? i disagree that the movie could garner nazi sympathy if interpreted incorrectly, quite the opposite actually. you feel bad for the dad but wasnt he expanding the camp? lol
