The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

The ending of this movie fucked me up pretty good. I was left staring at the screen through the end credits with my mouth agape. Just an absolutely devastating ending. This is the first movie I’ve seen depicting the Holocaust and the reality of it really gets to me. It’s horrid

i cannot explain how this movie impacted me.. i would recommend anyone to watch it for so many reasons. the cast is amazing and the actors’ performances as well. the ending got me in tears. needed at least 7 business days to get over it.

as a jew i hate this movie. my dad’s side of the family were all killed in the holocaust except my great grandfather and this movie is the worst holocaust movie i’ve watched. this movie makes you sympathize with nazis instead of focusing on the real victims of the holocaust.

Its for younger audiences. But it has an important concept that wouldn’t have impacted the nazis, and didn’t make a bigger impact as much as it should’ve now

The ending is really sad 😢

This is one of the few movies that made me cry- it was sooo sad. I watched this too young- traumatising.
So sad to see history repeating itself.
