i think this movie would be better, or at least way funnier, if eli’s book was like literally anything other than the bible. imagining an alternate cut where this guy fanatically believes humanity’s only chance of survival is harry potter and the chamber of secrets

First good movie I’ve watched that has heavy religious references without being overly dramatic or cheesy.
Plus all the characters were well written and create a very engaging story.
With this in thought I’d rate it a solid 6/10
